Welcome to my page!
My name is Stefani Jones, and I have the honor of teaching music
to your child if they are in grades 7-12.
I knew at the age of 6 that God had called me into the teaching profession. I knew that I wanted to be just like my first grade teacher. I graduated from Durant High School in 1988 with honors, and went on to receive my Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. I have taught and been certified in three states, adding Arkansas to my list in the year 2000 when I accepted at job teaching 4th grade at De Queen Elementary School. In 2003, I graduated again with a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Texas A & M University. In 2008 I began teaching elementary music, and moved to the high school in 2013 to teach Middle School, Jr. High and High School choirs as well as Show Choir.
I have one son, Zach, and two "bonus daughters," Chelsea and McKenzie,
and am married to Max Jones.
My parents developed my passion for music, and my mother began giving me piano lessons at the age of 4. I was involved in choir and band from middle school through college, and my love of music allows me to play the piano at First Baptist Church in De Queen each week.
