De Queen Public Schools will celebrate the Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony on Monday, May 18, at 8:00 p.m. at Leopard Stadium on Bill Blackwood Field.
Due to the possibility of inclement weather currently in the forecast, we want to make families aware of our contingency plan in the event graduation must be moved indoors.
If weather conditions require the ceremony to be relocated, graduation will be moved to Leopard Coliseum at De Queen High School.
In the event of an indoor ceremony, each graduate will receive eight tickets for admission due to seating capacity and fire code regulations inside Leopard Coliseum. Graduates or their parent/guardian must pick up and sign for tickets in the high school office on Monday, May 18.
If a family does not need all eight tickets, any unused tickets will be placed into a reserve pool and redistributed on a first come, first served basis. Families will be limited to requesting up to two additional tickets from the reserve pool.
We also ask that balloons and other large items remain in vehicles until after the ceremony, whether graduation is held at Leopard Stadium or Leopard Coliseum, out of respect for families and spectators viewing the ceremony.
An official decision regarding the graduation location will be announced through the district’s social media pages and website.
The graduation ceremony will also be livestreamed on DQTV’s YouTube channel for family and friends who are unable to attend in person.
We look forward to celebrating the De Queen High School Class of 2026 and this special milestone together. #LeopardPride

Mr. Lester’s 10th grade biology students experienced an informative field trip to Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area. As you can see in the pictures, they were fully engaged in hands-on scientific investigation!
Students conducted water quality testing by analyzing pH levels and assessing biological indicators within the stream ecosystem. By identifying and cataloging macroinvertebrate species present in the water, students were able to evaluate biodiversity and determine evidence of a healthy aquatic environment and strong water quality.
