💻Leopards Representing in Cybersecurity! 💻 De Queen Junior High and High School proudly took three teams to compete in the recent DMESC Capture the Flag Cybersecurity Challenge, a sports-themed, hacker-style event that tested students’ problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills against teams from 11 districts and 16 teams across the region. We are especially proud to share that De Queen High School placed 2nd overall! 🎉 🏆 Team members: Maria Morales, Diego Bahena, and Victoria Saldivar Congratulations to all of our students for their hard work, determination, and creativity. Mrs. Jack’s artist of the week is 11th grader, Berenice Ocampo. Berenice has been working hard on her sustained investigation project. Her theme she has been exploring is nature. Her love of color and texture made this piece a favorite in the class!

🎓 Senior Orders
Rick Lancaster will be on campus from 12:00 PM–6:00 PM to take class ring and graduation cap/gown orders.

💻 TRIO FAFSA Assistance
TRIO representatives will be at DHS to help seniors complete the FAFSA.
Seniors received an email to sign up for an appointment.
For Thursday, October 16, students should bring:
2024 Tax Return and W-2, Social Security number, Parent and student FSA ID, Access to parents’ email and phone number
Future FAFSA help dates: Nov 13, Dec 4, Feb 5, Mar 19, Apr 9, May 6. Sign-up sheets are shared a month prior.
