2024-2025 School Calendar for De Queen Public Schools

February is CTE Month, and this week has been designated to highlight FFA programs nationwide. We are proud to have one of the strongest FFA programs in the region, and on Thursday, our awesome FFA students set up a petting zoo for the younger members of our Leopard Family!! #LeopardFamily #leopardpride #CTEMonth #FFAWeek

Our Leopard Family would like to congratulate Senior Lady Leopard Jaide Tatum, who signed her Letter of Intent with Henderson State University this week!! Miss Tatum has been a valuable member of the De Queen Leopard and Lady Leopard Track & Field and Cross Country teams for several years, and next fall, she will be hitting the trails for the Lady Reddies.
Head Cross Country Coach Dennis Chaney shared the following statement:
"Jaide Tatum is the type of runner that puts in a lot of miles on her own. She is a talented runner who has made herself even better with her work ethic. She is an excellent teammate who leads by example. She is a two-time All-Conference runner and has helped her team win The 7-4A Conference Championship all four years that she competed. I have been fortunate enough to be her coach throughout her entire cross-country career. I have coached a lot of great, hard-working kids, and she is one of the best. She has a great work ethic, but it was always fun to have her at practice and get an argument started with her. Most importantly, it was so much fun to win with her and see her achieve her goals. Henderson State is getting a great student-athlete!"
