Mr. Lester’s 10th grade biology students experienced an informative field trip to Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area. As you can see in the pictures, they were fully engaged in hands-on scientific investigation!

Students conducted water quality testing by analyzing pH levels and assessing biological indicators within the stream ecosystem. By identifying and cataloging macroinvertebrate species present in the water, students were able to evaluate biodiversity and determine evidence of a healthy aquatic environment and strong water quality.

Mr. Lester birthday!
Physics students in Mr. Conan Martin’s class took learning to new heights this morning as they launched their rocket at the airport! Through this hands-on project, students explored the technical aspects of rocket science, including force, motion, thrust, gravity, and aerodynamics. This experience gave students the chance to connect classroom concepts to real-world applications while testing their designs and seeing physics in action. Great job to Mr. Martin and his students for making science come alive!
