De Queen Public Schools will return to school on Wednesday, Jan. 17th.
We know it will be extremely cold in the morning, and buses may run a little late. Our bus drivers will take their time at each stop so that children can be kept indoors to stay warm. Please be safe in the morning and we will see you all at school.

Due to icy road conditions, De Queen Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16th.
This school day will be made up on Friday, Feb. 16th.

FYI....the Miss DHS pageant has been rescheduled for Feb. 10th.

Today, we caught DHS Asst. Principal and member of the DHS Class of '66, Murray "Tuffy" Neely, was passing along his guitar knowledge and skills to some of the DHS Class of 2024. #LeopardFamily #leopardpride

Our Leopard Family congratulates Senior Jonathan Bahena, who was selected as the 88th winner of the Rotary Cup. This historic award has been presented annually to the Most Valuable Senior on the De Queen Leopards football team since 1936. Past winners of the award represent top students and athletes at De Queen High School, spanning over nine decades. At Monday’s (December 4th) noon meeting of the club, “The Voice of the Leopards” Jay Bunyard presented the award for the 2023 season to Bahena. He’s the 88th all-time recipient of the Rotary Cup. He was named to the All-5A South Conference first team as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Bahena also excels in the classroom, with a 3.22 grade point average.
